Basic but Bold: Style Updates on Repeat
Hi friends,
Black and white never gets old. The high contrast looks good on everybody and always fresh and modern, yet classic at the same time. These are my favorite fall style updates in the black and white color family.
THE LBD
Let’s start with this little black dress. What makes this LBD unique? The fabric doesn’t wrinkle and holds it’s shape 🙂 The long sleeves contrast perfectly with the deep V. I sized up to a 4 in this so that I could easily belt it. This dress is by Theory. I linked it in my earlier post from the Shopbop sale. HERE . I have been loving it. By the way, Theory has been killing it with the seasonal staples for me recently! I am trying to focus on nice pieces that I can wear over and over in different ways and I am finding so much there.
WHITE CAPE
This cape is by Maje. It’s so classic and chic. I found it on sale HERE. I absolutely adore it.
I have worn the cape with leather leggings and with jeans recently. The pic below was from a recent Shopstyle event at the Atlas in Buckhead. I highly recommend this place for ambiance and fancy delicious food.
Mile High Boots
These are the all legs OTK boots I have been dreaming about. I love that they come up higher than my other Stuart Weitzman OTK boots. Check them out HERE. obsessed. 🙂
BELT AND BAG
This belt has been getting a lot of action as well. It’s very comfortable and creates a nice silhouette. Possibly my favorite bag right now is the one shown below. Simon Miller nailed the streetstyle mininalism style. I am so in love with this bag and I talked more about it in my New York post HERE.
