Home Hop: Holiday Entryway Styled 2 Ways

Home Hop: I want to share two versions of this year’s holiday entryway. The Inner Peace Wreath is the focal point and my goal for this holiday season. This space is a challenge. It’s too small to be a room, yet it still needs decor and a welcoming vibe.

For the past couple of days, I’ve been styling this space in different ways.

Rustic meets Glam Entryway Decor

I saw this wreath, and it reminded me of the Peace Prayer of Saint Francis, my favorite prayer. This prayer asks the “big guy in the sky” to make us instruments of peace.

Make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy

Grant that I may
not so much seek to be consoled as to console
to be understood as to understand

Greenery makes a huge difference. When I removed the green leaves, this space took on a much more modern feeling.
You gotta use big fairy lights with the dark if you want them to pop.
The second look needed more separation between objects.
