Bring on the rustic.

This dining room already had lots of dressy and glamorous elements such as the crystal, silver, the vintage lucite table base as well as the room itself.  All it needed was a little more rustic charm. So we added the garland and the natural wood centerpiece.

Bring on the black.

The black chargers and napkins also really added contrast. This is only my second time using the new top we added to this table. Did you see our Thanksgiving post HERE? Looking at that is what made me realize I needed more contrast. So bring on the black. I’ve been adding more black with pillows and love the depth it adds to the decor. It was fun to see it happen again here with this table setting. I also think this would look really great with simple gold flatware like THIS set from Amazon.
